Clemson came out victorious 27-21 in a top-15 matchup in Death Valley against Syracuse in a game that saw the Orange push the Tigers to their limit. Freshman QB Cade Klubnik led the Tigers on two scoring drives that clinched the win, but it was an explosive game for RB Will Shipley. The Clemson back had 172 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winning 50 yard scamper in the 4th. Syracuse QB Garrett Shrader led the Orange offense with 238 yards in the loss. Clemson moves to 8-0 on the season.
