Ultra Music Festival was inaugurated and produced in 1999 by business partners Russell Faibisch, Ray Navarro and Alex Omes.The first festival was held as a one-day event on March 13, 1999.Artists at Ultra's first festival included Paul van Dyk, Rabbit in the Moon, Josh Wink, and DJ Baby Anne. The first Ultra Beach Music Festival, which was held at Collins Park in Miami Beach proved popular, with an estimated ten thousand concertgoers in festival.

Since the first concert held in 2012 was able to attract a huge audience, Korea was able to hold the Ultra Festival every year until 2019.

The Ultra 2022 music concert, which was able to be held after 3 years, was held in a grand manner at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul on the 24th and 25th.

2012 වසරේ පැවැත්වූ පළමු ප්‍රසංගය අතිවිශාල ප්‍රේක්ෂක ආකර්ෂණයක් දිනාගැනීමට සමත් වූ නිසා 2019 වසර දක්වා සෑම වසරකම Ultra Festival පැවැත්වීමට කොරියාව සමත් විය.
නමුත් අවාසනාවකට වසන් කිරීමේ තත්ත්වය නිසා 2019 න් පසු මෙය පැවැත්වීමට නොහැකි විය.
වසර 3කට පසු පැවැත්වීමට හැකි වූ Ultra 2022 සංගීත ප්‍රසංගය පසුගිය 24 සහ 25 යන දෙදින තුළ සෝල් නුවර ඔලිම්පික් ක්‍රීඩාංගණයේදී අති උත්කර්ෂවත් අන්දමින් පැවැත්විණි.
එබැවින් දෙස් විදෙස් ජනතාව 80,000කට අධික පිරිසක් එම දින දෙකට සහභාගී වීම විශේෂත්වයකි. ප්‍රසංගය නැරඹීමට ශ්‍රී ලංකාවෙන් බොහෝ පිරිසක් පැමිණීම සතුටට කරුණක් විය.
මෙවර අල්ට්‍රා ප්‍රසංගයට සහභාගී වූ කලාකරුවන් අතරින් මාෂ්මිලෝස් සහ මාර්ටින් ගැරිස් විශේෂ ප්‍රේක්ෂක ආකර්ෂණයක් දිනාගත් අතර එය ඉතා සාර්ථකව අවසන් කිරීමට කණ්ඩායමට හැකි විය.
