Hey there! I'm Al Frugoni, a passionate live fire pit master hailing from the vibrant city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. I always had an entrepreneurial spirit, but little did I know that my favorite pastime in Argentina, el asado (open fire cooking), would one day become my livelihood and a source of joy for people around the world.

During the pandemic, when life seemed uncertain and my business faced challenges, I found solace in the art of grilling and live fire cooking. It was my wife's brilliant idea to have an asado one evening, and that simple decision changed everything. I started sharing my live fire cooking videos on TikTok, and before I knew it, I had become a TikTok and social media sensation, connecting with nearly two million people worldwide!

Being in Texas, I felt an instant affinity for the Texan love of backyard barbecues and grilling all kinds of meat, just like we do back in Argentina. As the years went by, my passion for live fire cooking evolved, and I transformed from an influencer to a pit master and chef, participating in first-class live events and TV appearances.

But my journey didn't stop there. I am thrilled to introduce my own line of Argentinian-style rubs and seasonings, specially crafted for live fire cooking. From the Original Chimichurri to the Spicy Chimichurri, TX.SP (Texas Salt & Pepper), and Salt Parrillera (Grilling Salt), my creations have found their way into over 100 BBQ stores and retail outlets across the country, including the prestigious Central Market.

I believe that live fire cooking is more than just a way of preparing food; it's a cultural experience, a fusion of Argentine and American barbecue cultures. My goal is to teach and inspire people on their own cooking adventures, from traditional cuts of meat to fun cross-cultural fusions like my jalapeno popper empanadas and creative takes on burgers.
