Sheriff Gootkin on Meth - Kostenloses Hörbuch

Gallatin County Sheriff Brian Gootkin spoke recently on the growing epidemic of methamphetamine across the nation and how prevalent the problem is in Gallatin Valley.

We also have an issue with human trafficking of young women moving through Montana cities and towns. The Sheriff recounted a law enforcement sting of human traffickers at one of our local hotels.

The Sheriff is also battling the ACLU over holding illegals for I.C.E. enforcement to transport them to a facility for possible deportation.

The take away from this interview is that if you see something say something. Law enforcement needs citizen input to alert them to situations that might escalate into violent crimes.

Thankfully our county is very safe considering our size and part of that safety is due to citizen involvement. Let’s keep our city and county safe by being vigilant when we see activity that might seem suspicious.
