Three doctors told them to abort their baby because of an adverse medical diagnosis. They said the baby would die and the mother’s life could also be in danger. But Peter and Suzanne Guy, bolstered by their Christian faith, refused to give up hope for their daughter. She was born prematurely at 26 weeks and endured the first months of her life in the NICU on oxygen and a feeding tube yet overcame it all to lead a healthy life. Today, Rachel Guy is a 22-year-old college student, studying bioethics and leading in the pro-life movement. Her mom and dad are also speaking up for life.
