CSCL Jupiter arrives to the Port of Felixstowe in strong winds. The pilot orders 2 tugs for a port swing for Felixstowe Berth 7. As she was drawing a draft of 14.2 metres the Jupiter needed help slowing down ready for the swing so the aft tug wants straight astern 50% to reduce the speed.
Close to the Shotley Spit the tugs begin to swing her around. The Ernest Shackleton comes around the Beach End and speaks bridge to bridge with the CSCL Jupiter about passing for the Navyard at Harwich.
Once swung the tugs move to the opposite sides to catch the swing. The pilot then comes astern to head towards her berth.
