Riding the Streetcars in Melbourne Australia is easy! Melbourne's trams are free in the city center. Just get on and get off. The Free zone is clearly signed. You'll Need a Myki otherwise if you are going outside the city center. You can buy a Myki card at vending machines or 7-11. Tap on… do not tap off. Only tap off in zone 2. A 2 hour ride is $4.20 All day is $8.40. Slightly cheaper on weekends You can also buy a 7 day or more pass for less.
