I caught my biggest crayfish ever last week. A new PB for me and it was massive. It was a slow day crayfishing with lots of net checks resulting no crayfish at all, but then when I did catch a couple they were massive, in particular the big male crayfish. I was using Goodos dry dogfood for bait, in stockings. This system seems to very for in the short term but after a while the stocking start to break open. One thing that I love about crayfish is that it doesnt seem to matter if the river is high or flooded, or dirty, they still seem to bite when most finned fish shut down.
