Chris Korda live at Douala, Ravensburg

Chris Korda live at Douala, in Ravensburg, on July 16, 1999.
Of particular interest is a version of the "Save the Planet, Kill Yourself" industrial (B-side) mix, including the essential patch-change loops, which were subsequently lost. This show may predate the switch to software synths, in which case the hardware likely consisted of:
Desktop PC (for running homebrew DOS polymeter sequencer "Jock")
Alesis HR-16 (drum machine)
Yamaha FB-01 (FM synth module)
Kawaii K1m (synth module)
Roland S-550 (sampler)
Alesis Quadraverb
Alesis Microverb
Kawaii MM-16 (MIDI controller)
Getting all this gear (plus power supplies, diskettes, dozens of cables, etc.) onto airplanes and past venal customs agents presented major logistical challenges to say the least. Consequently this setup was eventually replaced by two laptops, one running Reason (via Windows NT) and the other running the custom sequencer (via DOS), connected by a hardware MIDI interface.
