「我的　神我的王啊，我要尊崇你！我要永永遠遠稱頌你的名！我要天天稱頌你，也要永永遠遠讚美你的名！耶和華本為大，該受大讚美；其大無法測度。這代要對那代頌讚你的作為，也要傳揚你的大能。」   (詩篇 145:1-4)

【啟讀經文】（詩篇78:1-8）

1我的民哪，你們要留心聽我的訓誨，側耳聽我口中的話。

2 我要開口說比喻；我要說出古時的謎語，

3 是我們所聽見、所知道的，也是我們的祖宗告訴我們的。

4 我們不將這些事向他們的子孫隱瞞，要將耶和華的美德和他的能力，並他奇妙的作為，述說給後代聽。

5 因為，他在雅各中立法度，在以色列中設律法；是他吩咐我們祖宗要傳給子孫的，

6 使將要生的後代子孫可以曉得；他們也要起來告訴他們的子孫，

7 好叫他們仰望　神，不忘記　神的作為，惟要守他的命令。

8 不要像他們的祖宗，是頑梗悖逆、居心不正之輩，向著　神，

心不誠實。

1 My people, hear my instruction; listen to what I say.

2 I will declare wise sayings; I will speak mysteries from the past—

3 things we have heard and known

and that our fathers have passed down to us.

4 We must not hide them from their children,

but must tell a future generation the praises of the Lord,

His might, and the wonderful works He has performed.

5 He established a testimony in Jacob and set up a law in Israel,

which He commanded our fathers to teach to their children

6 so that a future generation—children yet to be born—might know.

They were to rise and tell their children

7 so that they might put their confidence in God

and not forget God’s works, but keep His commands.

8 Then they would not be like their fathers,

a stubborn and rebellious generation,

a generation whose heart was not loyal

and whose spirit was not faithful to God.
