***PLEASE NOTE... We lived in California in a high fire area and are well aware of the destruction fires can cause.... in fact, we were evacuated several times! Rest assured that at the time of this video we checked on fire restrictions and there were none in place. We are saddened by the two forest fires that are currently burning in Arizona!!
Coordinates: (35.1404544, -112.0292348) NOTE: Camping is not permitted at the Sycamore Falls trailhead parking lot. You will find free camping or boondocking nearby within a few miles in both directions. During Peak season Whitehorse Campground is beautiful and only two miles from Sycamore Canyon Waterfall. Sycamore Falls is at the start of Sycamore Canyon and is RUGGEDLY beautiful!! Please use caution if you visit this area as there are a lot of tripping hazards and steep drop offs!! We enjoyed boondocking in the nearby national forest but please keep in mind that Arizona mud is not to be messed with in this area! Not only will you get massively stuck!!! But you will run the risk if scarring the landscape that could result in the closure of this area.
