Making Home Profitable

A new life in the country was another chance for Kate Saint Maur and her husband after a business failure left them in dire straits in the city. She moved to the country and made, with little knowledge of farming and even less money to begin, a life and home that was not only self-sustaining but profitable. Here she explains how they transformed from city dwellers to independent farmers.
