LibriVox volunteers bring you 19 recordings of Longing for Spring-time by George L. Moore. This was the Fortnightly Poetry project for February 21, 2021. ------ George Logan Moore was an Irish poet, there is not much information on him out there. This poem is taken from the Chambers’s Edinburgh Journal, March 15, 1879, apparently, he was paid 10s 6d for this poem. This Fortnightly Poem is dedicated to the long-awaited coming of Spring. - Summary by David Lawrence
