Examining Psalm 42:6-7, we find David in the city of Mahanaim when he wants to be in Jerusalem. But instead of turning to deeper despair, David determines to remember God. This is a decision which leads to his spiritual recovery. David's first reflection of God is on His judgment. But then hope comes in verse 8.
