Why do you foolishly and stubbornly turn away from God's truth and grace?

Jeremiah 44:7-30 Choosing to follow and worship something other than God causes you harm because God is God. God is good. You and I are not God. It is good for us to turn away from our idols and trying to find hope in this world. It is good for us to turn toward God who loves us and provided forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ's death and resurrection. He also provided eternal security.
