The Political Junkie Goes West - The Political Junkie, Ken Rudin, has some ideas about what President Barack Obama might talk about in his State of the Union address Tuesday night. Sacramento County Sheriff Deputy Danny Oliver was killed in the line of duty last October on Arden Way at the beginning of a violent police chase that left two officers dead. OR-7 Pack - The lone wolf made famous for being the first of its kind to venture into California in nearly 90 years is a trailblazer. Researchers with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife say OR-7, his mate and their two pups have been officially designated as the Rogue Pack. Plus, another wolf has been sighted. ODFW wolf coordinator Russ Morgan originally caught OR7 in 2011 and joins us. Portland Cello Project - With a repertoire reaching back to Bach and continuing to Taylor Swift, the Portland Cello Project continue to blur the lines between classical and modern composers. The Cello Project will spend early 2015 on the road to support their latest release, "to. e.s.," a 12-song studio album paying homage to Elliott Smith. To e.s. features instrumental covers of the Portland songwriter's music, as well pieces by contemporary composers that were inspired by Smith. The Portland Cello Project will be at Harlow's in Sacramento this Thursday and band member Diane Chaplin joins us ahead of the performance to talk about the new album.
