We covered pages 171 (and went back to look at 168-170) and ended on 183.

Pierre discusses the three part system of Advaita Vedanta which are scriptures, reason and experience. He talks of the strength of the three and the weaknesses of depending on any one of them for enlightenment. He  contrasts this with the Platonic system of dialectic and contemplation as a path to truth. He ends with saying adding the "no mechanics" approach of vedanta to contemplation might improve the path to the highest realization for Platonists.
