Years after the Furthur bus, and years before there was a Furthur Festival or Furthur collaboration with Bob and Phil, I put together a band called "Further" in Tucson.  This is a recording of our very first rehearsal - with me on bass, Chad Stone playing his Iceman, Mimi on rhythm and Steve the Drummer on the kit.  It's rough at times, and the mix could be better; but I think it conveys the emerging chemistry of our ensemble.  Setlist is: What Went Wrong (one of my originals) > L.A. Woman > Dark Star > Set the Controls For The Heart Of The Sun, and some other jamming.  I hope you enjoy it.
