Air Force One - The Rejected Motion Picture Score

Here’s the full rejected score of Air Force One by Randy Newman in good audio quality.

STORY: In 1997, after the filming of Air Force One, Wolfgang Petersen hired Randy Newman to do the soundtrack of the movie, however he was rejected because Petersen thought that the score sounded like a parody. So Newman was replaced by Jerry Goldsmith and Joel McNeely who wrote the final score in 12 days. After the film's premiere, several bootlegs of Newman's rejected score were distributed and years later it has been uploaded to YouTube. There is no indication that Newman recorded music for either the opening credits or the final fifteen minutes of the film and end credits. The rejected score makes for an interesting listening experience apart from the film, and, surprisingly, it has been highly praised through the years that even Hans Zimmer loved so much.
