you don't need an audio interface to get great audio This is my review of the AT2020 USB mic. Audio technica did an awesome job with the xlr at2020 mic. But not everyone wants to buy an audio interface to make it work. Many people don't want to expand their setup to get audio. If you want to pickup the usb mic or XLR here are my links
