8. Trimming roots: Never do it! chose a bigger pot if the orchid got too big. Don't try to stimulate branching of the roots, you will risk infections, total death of the roots or extra energy spent on un programmed things.. energy that should have gone to the leaves.. or FLOWERS!
9. Temperature stress: Too hot or too cold, never a good environment for orchids. Heat stress, as well as cold stress can affect orchid health, lead to sunburn or infections.
