Sunshine Cinema Show: Long Shot and Holmes & Watson

It’s a comedy double-bill this week. First up is the latest cinematic offering from Seth Rogen, Long Shot, which co-stars Charlize Theron. The film is a departure from the usual Rogen antics, but is that enough to recommend this particular rom-com?

Available to rent is Holmes & Watson, a universally condemned parody starring Will Ferrel and John C. Reilly. The knives were out for this movie when it hit the box office at Christmas time. But, hey, maybe it’s actually good?
