In another tribute to the late Charlie Watts, here are The Rolling Stones at Hampton Coliseum on 12/18/1981 during their 1981 North American Tour, to promote their latest album, Tattoo You. The 1981 tour was promoted by Bill Graham. This concert was the first ever Pay-Per-View (PPV) event, simulcast on TV and numerous FM stations across the US. During the intro, a woman announcer mentions KMET & KLOS in Los Angeles, among others.

This was the largest grossing concert tour in 1981 with $50M in ticket sales, and an estimated 2 million attendees, when average ticket prices were $16. Several of the concerts were recorded and selected songs were released on 1982's live Still Life. George Thorogood opened for the Stones on this date, his brief performance is included here.
