A few reader reviews:
Once is not enough, but not for everyone, June 29, 2007
As a seeker on the 'path' for almost 25 years, I have been exposed to just about every guru and philosophy of the new age, many of them personally. I have met a man who was raised from the dead by Sai Baba, and I have been worked on by a psychic surgeon. In other words, I have been around the block and have nothing negative to say about any of them.
I am writing this because I simply have not read anything like the white book. When I found David Hawkins' Power vs Force, It was the first book that I ever started rereading immediately as soon as I finished the last page. With the White Book, I am now on my fourth reading, and I am still savoring every paragraph. It took a week to begin the first reread, because I knew something was happening to me, and it was very good. Just a couple of pages a day, and my soul is singing.
The best way to describe this book is that when I attempted to read sections of this book to my spiritual peers, they, in spite of their best efforts, almost immediately fell asleep. For serious seekers, we have all had the experience of being in energy that was so high that we were unable to stay awake. For me, the first time I read the white book, I realized, when I perused it later, that I had no recall of at least 3/4 of the content. As a long time member of mensa, when this happens, I take note. I had borrowed it from a library, and I realized I had trouble taking it back.
I have met several people who read the white book years ago, some still students of Ramtha, and when I remind them to read it again, they are absolutely blown away. I have never seen Ramtha, and I really have no interest in seeing him, other than as a tourist. It is not what a teaching says, it is what it does that has value to me. The white book feeds me. If this is not your book, I hope that you find one that does for you what this book does for me. Words fail to communicate what this book is about, so when you read this review observe how you feel.
A Life Changing Book!, April 1, 2005
This book rings with truth from cover to cover. I have read many, many `spiritual' books, and studied with many teachers. To my delight I have discovered all of the insights from the other books I have read, and roads I have traveled, are beautifully summed up in this one single book. The simple yet profound writing style reminds me of The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. The love expressed for all of life and creation and the joy that fills these pages is very similar to the Paul Ferrini books: Love Without Conditions and The Miracle of Love.
My only regret is that I did not find and read this book sooner. Similar to A Course in Miracles, this book is interactive, and you will have experiences in your life that complement the teachings. After reading it, a series of wonderful life changing events were set into motion, and I feel deeply blessed and excited by life as a result. Since reading this book I have read other books by Ramtha. The Fireside Series is a group of short teachings each on a different topic and I find these especially enjoyable. Crossing the River speaks of how our fears and limitations prevent us from being at one with the greatness of that which we are. Similar to The White Book, it offers an alternative way of thinking about life and our role in it. Ramtha gives us tools we can easily use in our daily lives to create wonderful realities for ourselves. His new DVD Create Your Day is another wonderful resource for this. We do not have to succumb to mediocrity, pain or victimization or sufferring. That is never who we were supposed to be. There is another way to live, and he invites us to try his way if even for a short time so that we can joyfully discover this truth for ourselves. This book has many many layers to it and each time you read it you will come away with a different insight. Definitely a life changing read. Fasten your seatbelts, get ready to fly into that great unknown called life. This book is a coming home to Truth..at long last. Thank you Ramtha.
Life Changing, January 9, 2007
I loved this book! I have read dozens of spiritual books and recommend this one over any of the others. If you are looking for answers you will find them here. This is a book about love and joy and finding God within yourself. It answers questions about life, death, and reincarnation. This book will help you to let go of limiting beliefs and fears and to realise your own divinity. If you are a fan of Eckhart Tolle the Abraham books or The Secret you will love this book.
