Hypnotists: Hypnotica and Steve Piccus
Music: Denver Clay
If you search online for hypnosis tracks, you’ll find many similar ones, in which the hypnotist speaks softly and tries to induce a trance state, typically by asking the listener to relax their muscles first, then proceeding to state the desired suggestions. Back in 2008, I was surfing a website called positivityblog when I stumbled upon this gem.
Eric Von Sydow (Hypnotica), along with Steve Piccus and Denver Clay, takes hypnosis to a whole new level of art and creativity. Single-handedly, he has invented a new genre, and dealt with hypnosis in an unprecedented way. He is the Berlioz of hypnosis!
In this masterpiece, we can see how each one of the trio added their unique touch. Hypnotica is a poet, Piccus is a shaman, and Clay is a genius composer. So the end result is similar to experiencing Shakespearean poetry, Jungian philosophy, and Pink Floyd’s artistry all at once!
Hypnotica and Piccus use an uncommon hypnotic technique called dual induction. The idea is that two hypnotists would speak different sentences and make different suggestions at the same time. I have heard very few attempts on the internet that had little success. But here, the producers open a whole new world of possibilities. Their different speeches harmonize beautifully and almost miraculously, creating a strange yet familiar polyphonic effect, something that has never been done before anywhere. The polyphonic effect can be compared to listening to a piece of Bach, but with words instead of musical notes! And it is extremely hypnotic, that after just 10 seconds, one will probably fall into a trance state.
On the other hand, Denver Clay is a musical genius. His melodies are very beautiful, and his orchestration is meticulously engineered to produce mental euphoria and bliss. He is a musical wizard as Hypnotica describes him in another one of his free tracks.
Double Induction aims to help one learn new things and adapt to changes quickly. After listening to it, almost regularly, for more than 10 years, I believe it hasn't only helped me with that, but it has also helped me become more self-confident and enhanced my mindfulness and overall well-being.
For best results, please listen using high-quality stereo headphones. If you like this track, please feel free to take a look at his other products on his website: http://www.hypnotica.org/products/
