Here we go again. A new president, a new shot of hope, and the same old voices shouting and screaming for war and destruction. It’s amazing that horrible people just don’t go away. Somehow they keep sticking their heads up again and again and shouting everyone down. Nothing will happen to Trump because of the insurrection. Nothing will happen to the rightwing billionaires who have funded policies that are anti-democratic. Nothing will happen to the science-deniers who believe that vaccines are filled with nano technology and will cause you to turn into a robot. Like I’ve said many times before, we should all avoid social media, never use the Google search engine, and get rid of the iPhone. I’d seriously rather give my information the a Chinese or South Korean phone manufacturer. They already have a couple of billion people to worry about. I’m not important. And anyway, I use a browser that let’s me search in private mode. I have 4 different ad-blockers, and I never log into any website with correct information regarding age gender or anything else I can easily lie about. If you really don’t want to be traced, use Tor, it even covers your IP address. Or learn just enough technology to be able to use the Internet completely anonymously.

In the first hour today, Indi Samarajiva has more wisdom to give us about the coming Civil War in America. Another Suds episode at the end of the hour and all the music this time is from the American band Phish.

Indi Samarajiva finishes talking about the coming Civil War in America, then Sarah Silverman talks about a Trump fan she met a couple of years ago. Noam Chomsky tells us what it really means to be educated and, just for a little twist, a short series of radio plays called Bits & Pieces.

Meanwhile, lockdown continues and masking up is obligatory, so don’t forget to use your approved FFP2 mask whenever you enter a store to buy something or whenever you find yourself in a crowd of people, or on the bus. I just put it on before I leave the house and walk to the supermarket. It’s easier to go out masked and not have to worry about slipping it on and off, on and off.
