Ira Hager, oral history interview

Transcripts of of an oral history interview of Ira Hager conducted by Anne T. Lawrence on September 8, 1972. Mr. Hager was a lawyer in Logan County, West Virginia and handled murder cases in addition to preparing affidavits that detailed the violation of miners civil rights. He was part of a Republican coalition organized to break the strength of the coal industry supported Democratic party in the county.
