Hi Campers, I go kayak/ backpacking up to the Gold Lakes Basin in the northern Sierra Nevada mountains wilderness of California. I take my Tamarack 100 Sit-On-Top Kayak into the beautiful alpine Goose Lake and set up an overnight camp on a long peninsula. I make homemade baked potato soup, have a campfire and do some landscape photography while enjoying the beautiful High Sierra mountains.
