This is the 4 of 23 taped phone conversations between Linda Tripp and Monica Lewinsky. Tripp turned over these tapes to the Office of the Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr in 1998, this is detailed in House Document 105-310.

The blank portions of audio are words or phrases removed by the House Judiciary Committee.

Tripp tape recorded her phone conversations with Lewinsky without Lewinsky's consent, violating Maryland's wiretap laws. Because the content was illegally produced and became federal and state evidence it is in the public domain.
