Palindrome - Free Archive Audio

This collection of songs was automatically composed by a program written in the programming language "Dolittle."

The 12 variations in this collection were generated based on a random seed calculated by 194612 x N (the variation number).

The songs consist of two voices. Each part has the same melody, just shifted by half a bar.

Each melody has a palindrome structure, so it plays the same whether played from the beginning or the end. Each song is 32 bars long, so bars 1-16 and bars 17-32 are symmetrical, like mirror images.

The same melody is symmetrical on the left and right, shifted by only half a bar, but when actually played, the sounds of each part subtly intertwine to create complex sound patterns.

この曲集は、プログラミング言語「ドリトル」で書かれたプログラムにより自動作曲されたものです。

曲集の12のバリエーションは、194612×N（バリエーション番号）により計算される乱数の種を元にして生成されました。

曲は二つの声部で構成されています。各パートは、二分の一小節ずれているだけで同じ旋律です。

各旋律は、最初から演奏しても最後から演奏しても同じになる回文的な構造になっています。曲は全て32小節になっているので、1～16小節と17～32小節が、ちょうど鏡に映し出したように対称になります。

左右対称の同じメロディーが二分の一小節ずれているだけなのですが、実際に演奏してみると、各パートの音が微妙に絡み合って複雑な音のパターンが出現します。
