So, I have a bit more time this hour to talk with you. It’s crazy times here in Germany at the moment. Lockdown? Yes, but not completely, or maybe completely, or maybe not, and then No, definitely not. And the vaccines are not here, or actually they are here, but we can’t have them because they are supposed to go to the UK first. But why should they go there first? What? The company made a special contract with them and a different contract with us? But they promised to deliver. No, they promised to deliver “If it was possible.”

Chaos. Absolute chaos. This is not the super-efficient, absolutely competent Germany that everybody believed was the real Germany. No. Even here there are corrupt members of parliament getting kickbacks from companies that made super profits selling their Covid protection gear to the government. And of course these corrupt officials get booted out of their jobs, but what about the people in the companies? Will they get the boot? Will anybody go to jail? Wishful thinking. The rich and the politically connected never go to jail. It’s no different here than it is anywhere else. Partners in crime do no time!

I’m suffering from two things at the moment, and they are interconnected by the word fatigue. I’m suffering from Lockdown Fatigue, and I’m suffering from Crisis Fatigue. OK, I’m stuck at home like everybody else, so I guess everybody is tired of the lockdown. But for years now we have been in a state of crisis that just never ends. Somebody is always attacking somebody and we have to watch out because around any corner the evil person could appear.

I guess since we are living in the Evil Empire, there is evil around every corner. I’m just sick and tired of hearing about it. I say put the corrupt politicians in jail. Give us all a guaranteed basic income and let people relax and forget about capitalist induced crisis.
