UBA Radio Presents: Is Black Culture to Blame for Racism?
1/1UnitedBlackAmericaRadio Panel Discussion
About
In our first panel discussion we are joined by AJ Woodson, Editor-in-Chief of Black Westchester Magazine and Scott Hampton author of the new book Culturism: Why African-Americans Must Stop Blaming Racism For Their Problems and Start Taking Full Responsibility to debate the issue of culturism versus racism.
In this discussion, our two panelists go head-to-head on issues like
Whether the Black community has a bigger problem with our culture than we do with racism
If structural and endemic racism causes police brutality, or if this just a byproduct of a police state given too much power with too little oversight
The issue of sovereignty, and whether Black men and women should demand more authority to govern ourselves
...and whether we need a change of command in Black Leadership
