This is the introductory chapter to Michael Pennie: Sculpture: Making and Teaching to be published in October 2013. An illustrated memoir that chronicles more than half a century of making sculpture, prints and drawings as well as teaching in many UK Art Schools - and the 50 years association with Bath Academy of Art, now Bath Spa University.
