Rebecca Gayle Howellā€˜sĀ Render / An ApocalypseĀ selected for theĀ Cleveland State University Poetry Center First Book Poetry PrizeĀ in 2012. According to Marie Howe, ā€œThis is the book you want with you in the cellar when the tornado is upstairs taking your house and your farm.ā€ Event organizer Jennifer Mattox also says that Howell will be reading poems that she hasn’t read yet in Kentucky.
