1/1Italian Rhapsody by Robert Underwood Johnson
About
Robert Underwood Johnson's Poem 'Italian Rhapsody' read by Quinten Rhea for the Community Radio show called 'The Muse, the grave and the Living Poet tree' on 4/21 in recognition of the founding of Rome and World Book Night. It featured Poetry about Italy, and from Italian Poets. There is again that thread, that Spontaneous Serendipitous Synchronicity that runs through Art. All these things were connected. From the founding of Rome by Rhea Silva. Rhea is my last name. To an obscure book of Poetry I found about Italy that speaks of Shelly Byron, Keats, Browning Chaucer, and Shakespeare, to World Book night being set on Shakespeare's Birthday, to Robert Underwood Johnson who not only wrote that book of Poetry I found, but was instrumental in preserving the Keats / Shelly Memorial House, to Gabrielle D'Annunzio, another book I found that became my favorite. these are the threads that run through true Art and Poetry and Life. as Artists we weave them together and create some emotive tapestry in which to wrap and comfort our weary soul,
