Here we are, the last FREE WHEEL of 2016, a few days before Christmas, and the world hasn’t improved much at all. In fact, you could say it’s gotten even worse than it was before. But then we’d be forgetting the horrors of the Spanish Inquisition, the Holocaust, the Stalinist purges, Mao’s Cultural Revolution, the Cambodian Killing Fields, and the hundreds of other atrocious examples of human’s inhumanity to humans through time. We are a nasty nasty species, and each generation that comes along proves to history that it can be as nasty or even nastier than the previous generations.

If I wasn’t an optimist, I’d be totally depressed. What is there to be optimistic about you may ask. Well, you may ask, but my answer might not satisfy you. I’m optimistic when I deal with people directly. Most of them, when you stand in front of them and communicate, are not all that bad. They might be uninformed, they might make mistakes, and some of them are evil as well, but the vast majority only want to live peacefully and take care of their families.

The deadly worm stuck inside the human brain is the power and greed worm. No, power and greed are not two different things. They are one worm, which if you sever it, becomes, for a while two worms, one power, one greed, but then those two worms develop once again into one worm each with power and greed in each to the same extent. Extracting that worm from the human brain is our most important task. And for some stupid reason, I believe it can be done.

Besides Craig Murray and Stephen F. Cohen there is some appropriately power and greed-related music, and at the end of the program, a radio play entitled Shelter From The Storm.
