The Heart Sutra or Prajñāpāramitā Hṛdaya Sutra (Sanskrit) is perhaps the most famous sutra within the Mahayana canon. It concisely describes the  ultimate nature of reality or 'Emptiness' (Shunyata). Venerable Namjong will unravel the meaning of this sometimes terse sutra so that students may come to appreciate its profound meaning.

The teaching wasb given by Venerable Tenzin Namjong who teaches regularly at CKSL. Venerable Namjong is a student in the Geshe (PhD student in Buddhist philosophy) program at Sera Jey Monastic University in Bylakuppe.

This teaching was given at Choe Khor Sum Ling, Bangalore, India. It is a partial recording, due to technical reasons part of the recording is lost.
