07-19-2015 Spirituality Series: A Conversation with Ann Perrott

Ann spoke about her discernment process at St. Mark's leading to her ordination next year as well as her process after she was accepted by the diocese. She feels such a strong attachment to St. Mark’s that it was very difficult finding a parish for her internship work in as she goes forward. (Spoiler: Her attachment to the St. Mark’s community is so string that she wants to be ordained at St. Mark’s rather than the cathedral.) Her internship will be split between the cathedral in Hartford and an African-American parish in East Hartford. She spoke about the Cathedral’s Onesimus Project, a program helping inmates who will soon be released to help them to reintegrate into society to try to prevent recidivism.
