Moms Demand Action is a nationwide group, organized primarily by mothers of small children, that seeks to reduce gun violence by many means, including instilling "gun sense" in legislators. They want to see changes in the culture in respect to how guns are handled, enlarging the scope of background checks and ensuring that adults who own guns keep them locked and out of the way of children.
