Jesus sees what we don’t see. When we have Jesus, we are at an advantage. The man mentioned in Mark 5 surrendered to Jesus. Surrender to Jesus, and He can help us. After Jesus cast out the demons, the man was in his right mind. The people feeding the pigs lost 2,000 pigs that day because the demons entered the pigs and the pigs ran uncontrollably off the cliff into a lake. The people ran to the city to tell the news. I could imagine their swine business went belly up. Would you try to sue Jesus because He helped the man be well, or would you celebrate that Jesus performed a miracle? The people were upset with Jesus and told him to get lost. They could have made sport of the man or could have enjoyed eating pork. Look at the length of Jesus visiting a grave site and tomb to help this brother out. The man was appreciative that he wanted to follow Jesus. Instead, Jesus instructed the man to tell his family and the neighboring cities Jesus transformed his life. Do not allow anyone to outshine you in telling your testimony. They will leave out the best part.
