Ed Goddard is one of Australia's fastest (and youngest) Marathoners. At age 24 Ed has already run 2:13:45 as well as 62:15 for the Half Marathon and 28:23 for the 10,000m.

Ed ran 2:13 at the Manchester Marathon on April 3rd just 5 weeks ago- he was on pace for 2:11 until the final 5km when he began to suffer from muscle cramps in his hamstrings and calves. He will line up for another Marathon this weekend at the Copenhagen Marathon (15th May) to see if he has the World Championships automatic qualification time (2:11:30) in his legs.

The workout: 10min tempo, 1 mile hard, 3 x (2min fast, 1min easy), 10min tempo, 1 mile hard. Recovery: 1-2min.
