EXTRA INFO: LED PANEL (1st product shown) : YES...It is possible to snip off one of the power connectors and run the wires to the 5v in on the controller circuit board....but it's still rubbish....and yes I could have run a sweep tone into it to prove that it's faking the spectrum analyser and just flashing lights semi randomly....but that wouldn't really be adding anything, as it's obvious from just looking at it that the light patterns had little correlation to the music.
