Perhaps one of the most amazing stories in aviation, is the story of Vesna Vulovic. A 22-year-old Flight Attendant who became famous in their home country of Yugoslavia following a rather unbelievable set of circumstances. On January 26th, 1972, she worked on board Yugoslav Airways Flight 367. Little did she know that day that her life would change forever. Though her story has been shared countless times, what about the flight she was on, why did it actually crash? So, let’s examine the events of that flight and what actually happened on board?
