Video: The LAST PLACE you would ever want to be - VANLIFE NORWAY

This episode was filmed 1st & 2nd September 2022. Our journey to Norway continues as we board the MS Romantika in Eemshaven for the 18 hour crossing to Kristiansand.

After settling into our cabin we set off to explore the ship and then enjoy a lovely meal in the Grand Buffet.

After a pleasant night’s sleep, we have time for breakfast before arriving in Kristiansand where we head straight for the Arkivet Museum, the SS Headquarters during the Occupation of Norway in World War Two.

Next we drive to Odderøya island and after working out how to pay for parking, take a walk to explore the old German bunkers.

We visit the Cathedral in Kristiansand then go on search of a new pair of earphones. Just time to enjoy some frozen yogurt, sitting in the sun before the parking runs out.

We find our first park up in Norway and Carol cooks up dinner.
