Video: 1980 Yamaha XS 650 Brat Style - Full Timelapse Build

Watch me turn this seized, neglected bike into a 70hp street brawler. This bike is a hybrid of a "Brat" style motorcycle and a "street scrambler" type motorcycle. I took styling cues from both and mashed them up to make a bike that's more comfortable and more practical. It still retains 4 inches of suspension travel in the front and 5.5" in the rear, via Ohlins shocks. The engine is punched out to 707cc, the cylinder head is ported, the stock carbs were ditched in favor of 36mm flatslide pumper cabs, and it's finished off with a Mikes XS 2-1 header and SC project slip-on.
