Martijn Gerard Garritsen, conocido en el medio musical como Martin Garrix, es un DJ y productor neerlandés. Nació en Amstelveen, Países Bajos, el 14 de mayo de 1996. Se dio a conocer internacionalmente con el sencillo "Animals", editado a mediados de 2013, con respaldo de la discográfica Spinnin' Records. La canción fue número uno en Bélgica y Reino Unido, ocupó la tercera posición en Irlanda y también resultó muy exitosa en otros países.
