IUMA: A band called WET - Kostenloses Hörbuch

WET is a professional, unique, Alternative Rock band with a young "hip, semi-goth",sensual image. WET is based from South Florida, USA. And was formed in Jan.1997 and the members met through mutual musicians in the local South Florida scene. The band features in it's current line up phenomenal and powerfully strong female vocalist named ANGEL. She glides through each song as if her voice had wings - a swirl of sweetness and seduction. She began her music life at age 5, vocal sensation ANGEL moved to South Florida in 1994 from New York, where she moved to from her native country of Brazil in early 1990. She grew up with music like ( The Doors,Pink Floyd,David Bowie,Guns N' Roses,etc.) At a young age ANGEL started to sing in schools,open mics,talent shows,solo acts,etc... She has been singing with various local artists, her vision began to take shape when she met up with the other members of WET. In addition to being an astounding singer - songwriter, she is also an accomplished actress and model for local fashion shows.

Next; an excellent and multy talented bass player DAIN MILLER, he provides the steady bass rhythms for WET and has been playing since he was 12 yrs. He moved to Florida in 1990 from Illinois, where he had played in several local bands. This extraordinary musician DAIN MILLER has even toured with some national recording artists as (Ramsey)... He's influenced by ( Lenny Kravitz,Soul Coughing, Crystal Method, QuickSand,etc.) When not playing with the band, DAIN MILLER enjoys writing music.

Another awesome musician is this raging guitarist JASPER SUMMERS, he's been playing guitar since the age of 6. He originally comes from Hershey,PA. He moved to Florida in 1995 and after met up with other members from WET he shared his talent and amazing abilities that give WET that special sound. Also experienced with bands JASPER SUMMERS has done some tourings. JASPER SUMMERS is influenced by ( Mother Love Bone,Pixies,REM,Sound Garden,etc.)

Last but not least, the extremely amazing drummer ROB ROGERS, who's influenced by ( Korn, Godsmack,Stone Temple Pilots,etc.) ROB ROGERS has been banging the drums since the early age of 5, he hails from Somerset,PA. Where he had played with many popular local bands before moving to South Florida in 1998. He abserved the local Florida scene before becoming a major part of it when he joined the band WET.

This band " WET " literally blows all other bands off the stage. And with such a style too ! Fans are always begging for more... Giging everywhere, WET has an unbelievable live show where they really capture your attention, not only with eye catching attire, but with the way that ANGEL moves and presents herself on stage. WET shows that they have potential with their entertainment, and creativaties. They're magnetic,dramatic,crasmatic, and very confident. Some of their live performances includes (Opening for the MTV band Neurotica, Love fest, The Hard Rock Cafe in Miami, The Roxy, Culture Room, SurfCafe, Fubar, The Pub, Zone, The ChilyPeppers, CoffeBeans, Power Studios, Mad Jacks, Roses, SFR, Spanky's, Tobacco Road, V- Lounge,etc...) They feature catchy, well - written lyrics arranged against a heavy, Alternative/POP style. With varieties of danceble music, and radio friendly songs, they're simply awesome !!! They attract a great atmosphere and a crowd of people! WET have been making quite a splash! Having been interviewed on TV and on the radios performing an acoustic live song for each, as well getting air play on other countries with their HITS "HEY BUDDY" ,"GRACE"and "FLY HIGH". They also garnered excellent reviews on News Papers and Magazines, (Sunsentinel, Miami Harold, Show Time, NewTime, Brazilian Newspapers, Gazeta Newspapers, CityLInk Rag, Eastsiders, Jam mag., Exposure Mag., Inside connection Mag., Roadie Crew Mag., Rock Brigade Mag., etc.)( including different countries such as Brazil, Portugal, Norway, Canada, Greece, Russia, etc.) And they're in many web sites...
