"So Barth called out to the prisoners on Christmas 1963 in Basel. In Basel prison, Karl Barth worked passionately as a pastor and preacher. In 1963 he gave a Christmas sermon there behind the walls. It was only published 15 years later by the TVZ -Verlag, on two cassettes. The quality of cassettes, unlike wine, does not improve with age. You can hear it for example with the organ sound. It sounds like a distorted electric guitar. That's why I digitized the tapes and make them here accessible. I wish you a thoughtful minutes."
