An Experiment in Dissonant Fifths - Kostenloses Hörbuch

This is the first publicly-available classical music work from BBP Films Music Studios. The title, "An Experiment in Dissonant Fifths," refers to how certain instruments play perfect fifths to other instruments, thus sounding out of place. The repeating pattern throughout the song is a changing tone interval between the trumpet and french horn parts - first a perfect fourth, then a perfect fifth, then a leading tone into the next sequence. The sound of the piece is sort of like a victory march - triumphant, lots of percussive interludes, and a canon-like style in different instrument sections. The piece, since it has dissonance and other non-"classical" beats and melodies, could be considered "contemporary" classical music.
