Tromsdalstinden / Sálašoaivi in North Norway / Sápmi - Soft mountain winds - Kostenloses Hörbuch

On the shoulder of the holy mountain of Tromsdalstinden / Sálašoaivi, well past the treeline but with small shrubs, grasses and patches of heather still prominent features of the terrain alongside scree and what might be glacial erratics. I can see a line of pylons about a kilomter away – they are metal here but made from tree trunks in the valley bottom – and debate whether to record them. I see what I think is a weasel in the distance and excitedly post a picture on Instagram. There is still a long way to go to the summit, winds brush the air, fraying occasional birdsong and rustling the heather.
